Final Chapter

Rage:5

The man laughed, sticking his halberd in the ground, the wings, straightening then folding on his back. "F-father." Kainzu muttered. "Yes, yes, would you like a hug?" Kainzu, about to nod, pulled out Ragnarok from the sheathes. "We came here.. to.. Fight you.." Kainzu glared, as Catherine began to cast a protection spell. "Ah, so you figured out the real reason for this hulk?" He asked, looking at the group. "N-no, I just know what the right thing to do is!" Kainzu got into his rogue stance. "Abandoned by your family, kidnapped, and taken advantage of by pirates, losing almost everything, and you still think you're strong? You have the will to live? You my boy are definitely a Halone. Your blood will be the perfect offering!" He laughed, the devilish smirk reformed on his face. "I will end you all, with great pleasure! But first, allow me to explain my ultimate plan with this starship!" He lifted his hands in the air, to where it appeared as if he held the red moon in his hands. "I plan, to put the moon back where it belongs, far far above, and continue the Allagan studies, and chimeric experiments and mutations, so one day, when I am pleased, I may release these beasts upon the world!" He laughed again, much louder, as if he were roaring. "It is time we finish this. To think, you and your group of fools attempt to defile me!" The man pulled the lance from the ground, and lunged in the air, his wings spread wide, until he slowly hovered above the arena. Kainzu nodded to the group, Archer walking slowly in front. "Excalibur! Aegis! Transform!" The weapons on his back, and on his hip, began to shape a sword, and shield, both a pure white, with gold trimmings. "Ah so you possess two tomestones?" "Yes, and they're fully fledged to ending your life." He unsheathed both the blade and shield. Kainzu, with Ragnarok in hand, walked up beside Archer. "Wait for me dear brothers!" Hinata jumped in the air, the blades in her hands, began to flow with Aetherical Fire, as she landed on Archer's shoulders, she stood up, glaring at the man. "Now we're the same height!" She smirked crossing her arms, blades in their sheathes. "Behold! The beast that shall put an end to you're evil reign!!" Sylver shouted beginning to summon. Suddenly Eos popped out from the book and sat on his head. "Beware! For this is! Eos!" The fairy waved with a smile on her face. "Hina! Get off his shoulders.. He's my property!" Catherine yelled jealously. "Blood is thicker than water!" Hinata replied. "Are you calling me water!" Catherine argued. "Be nice you two." Sol muttered walking up next to Catherine. "Or I'll freeze you both, here and now." Hina jumped down from his shoulders. "Yessir." The two muttered. "Ragnarok? What are the odds of us actually defeating my father." "1 in 100" "that one is all I need. Archer, get ready." Archer held his shield firm, before running into battle, grabbing the attention of Lord Dreadwyrm, turning him away from the group, with his great wing she blew the group behind him back, the lasers lit up, a loud buzz filling the air. Archer began slicing, and blocking the man's attacks, with one of the large Bahamut claws, he sliced quickly at Archer, Archer withstanding the attack with the shield. The floating island began to spin, as if they were in a spiral of some sorts. The surrounding islands, followed in this spinning motion. There was a great wind in the arena now, as if they were caught in the middle of a tornado. Kainzu quickly ran towards the man, beginning to slice the back of his father, Hinata followed, manipulating the wind around her, and fusing it to her blades, otherwise known as Fang, to strike deeper, and faster wounds. "Don't you love the smell of Drachen blood in the morning!" Raz shouted as she lunged into the spiraling wind tunnel. "Dragon fire dive!" She shouted lighting fire to the spiraling wind tunnel, then with all her might, using the Aetherical flames, she struck Lord Dreadwyrm, and lit him aflame. He shrieked with both pleasure and pain, turning around, and pointing the halberd, which began to glow, and reformed into a gun, he aimed, and pulled the trigger. Raz quickly jumped dodging the bullet, as he aimed and began firing more. "Dammit!" Raz yelled as a bullet grazed her right shoulder. Kainzu quickly with both blades stabbed his father in the gut, breaking his skin, blood spurting from the wound, and coloring the white overcoat. It was quickly healed, but as a precaution he flew into the air. The wind slowed to a stop, as the surrounding islands continued to orbit the main island. Lord Dreadwyrm flew and hovered in the center of the arena, and Allagan marks. A protective Allagan orb surrounded him, it flew a light calm blue, and a timer appeared on the side. It was holographic, so you could easily walk through it, but at the same time, no damage could be dealt to Lord Dreadwyrm. "Enjoy a little fun children! With the energy I've collected from the surrounding winds, enjoy a few twisters!" He laughed, pointing the gun at Archer. "Twister!" He shouted, Archer quickly moving , as a spiral underneath him flew, and exploded, blasting dust into the air. "Shit!" Hinata yelled. "Everyone spread out! Don't walk towards each other!" Kainzu yelled. Everyone spread out, and watched the man. He pointed the halberd gun. "Twister!" He shouted, Kainzu looked beneath him, quickly running to the left. A twister exploding, as if one was following him. "Kainzu!" Sylver shouted, as he began a spell. Eos quickly followed, spreading a dust on the group, while a Nymian orb surrounded each member individually. The man pointed the Halberd again, aiming carefully. "Let's make this interesting!" he laughed, as he began to shoot multiple twisters. "Twister! Twister! Twister!" The group migrated in a circle, as Twisters sprouted up from beneath their feet. "Damn you! Taste the fury of thy lord!" He roared, as the timer hit 10 seconds. "Commence! Giganta flare!" "Group up on me!" Archer shouted. The group ran mid center, directly underneath the floating orb. "And thy Lord, Bahamut, reek your havoc upon these pitiful souls! Make the heavens fall, pierce these insolent fools with your powerful might! Unleash thou's fury!" The sky turned a blood red, the air grew warm, then hot. "L-look!" Sol pointed with his staff towards the red moon. Bursting like an egg hitting the ground, the chunks falling  to the floor, Allagan constructs being hurled towards the group. "Behold! Lord Bahamut!" He laughed like a madman, his eyes began to glow an Allag red. Three of the surrounding islands were suddenly taken from the sky, by a long key shaped Allagan shaft, causing the islands to explode, burst, and break. "Sacred Soil!" Sylver quickly synthesized a Nymian shield, surrounding the group. Quickly after, Catherine held her staff to the red moon. "Holy!" She shouted, casting an additional Orb, breaking, and desensitizing anything to cross into its area. The great Dreadwyrm broke from its prison, flames spurting everywhere, it was pierced with Allagan machinery, as if to nullify its power. It roared a mighty roar, the beast spread its wings, and launched itself further into the sky. "T-this.. Is.." Kainzu muttered, as the man above him laughed with great pleasure. "Paradise my dear boy!" "H-hell..." With his Halberd, he moved the tip in a circular motion, and struck down. "Heavensfall!" He shouted, an Allagan construct, similar to the one that struck the smaller islands, impacted the group, hitting the dead center, Catherine struggled in a battle with the colossal mechanism. "I... I can't!!" She yelled, as the island began to be pushed from the air, falling from the sky. "I.. Must.. Protect you all!" "Not by yourself you won't!" Sol yelled, raising his staff in the air, donating his magicks to the woman, helping with the shield. Sylver to joined in, using his book to propel physical aspects of Aether into the spell, making it stronger. In a giant explosion, everything went white with flame, a great blur. Kainzu shielded his eyes. As the light died down, he found himself and the others lying on the floor, the shield weakly spurted with energy, as it began to fade. Archer quickly stood up, as the man lept into the air, and landed before them, the impact, causing them pain. He then hovered, halberd in hand. "R-Ragnarok.. What do I do.. P-please." "Kainzu, it's time we unleash your power. It will be the only way to stop your father." "B-but.. How..? What power could I possibly have..." "Your blood, you are a descendant from a long line of Allagan Royalty. With just a few drops, I can release your power, you can defeat this abomination of a man, and save your family." "Heh, what's the catch..." There was a brief moment of silence between the two, as the group struggled to stand. "There's no going back." Kainzu took a blade, and slit one of his wrists, the blood being consumed by Ragnarok. "Beginning analyzation." The blades throbbed with energy, as Kainzu began to float in the air. "Accessing DNA transmitter." An orb formed around Kainzu, as another construct hurled towards the group, the great mechanical shaft, exploding on impact, pieces scattering around. Two biochemical chambers falling to the group below. "Archer!" Hinata shouted. "I got it! You distract the one on the right. I'll get the left!" The two pods burst open, mutated men climbing out, one with blue Aetheric crystal on his back, the other with orange. Hina ran, and began to slice, and stab the orange one, while Archer began an honest battle with the blue, using his sword and shield in perfect harmony. "DNA conformation complete, unlocking Allagan Eye." The wind around Kainzu began to stir, creating a vortex beneath him. Sol, Catherine, and Sylver quickly got up, Eos laying on Sylver's shoulder. He unhooked his book from his hip. "Catherine! Heal Hinata! I'll get Archer! Sol, our best bet is if you bombard the Orange first, Hinata can't take very much damage." He ordered, the two nodded, and began doing as he said. "Hinata! Look out!" Archer yelled looking over his shoulder. The Orange Aetheric man began to glow, the crystal changing color to the blue, the other, changing to an orange. The, now blue man, raised his arm, as it grew full of crystal, about to swing down. "Hina! Switch!" Archer yelled, running over to the blue, blocking the attack with his shield. "On it!" Hina yelled in reply, as she began attacking the Orange. "Allagan Eye download complete, accessing core." Ragnarok began to shift, and change, the jagged blades became slick knifes, the length of Kainzu's fore arm, the hilts, were covered with a soft leather, and tips of the hilts decorated with tassels, the blade was a smooth silver, while the leather and tassels were jet black. "Initiating dark cluster." The blades suddenly burst with a pure white, and a dark purple at the base. "Analysis, Allagan Eye, Confirmed, Ragnarok 2.0 uploaded, link stable, Dark Matter, in ample supply. Transformation complete. Releasing in T-minus 15 seconds. Beginning countdown." A timer appeared at the center of the sphere, Kaiznu's eyes calmly closed, his wounds healed, and stamina regenerated. "5. 4. 3." Sol quickly cast a massive Conflagration, causing the blue crystallized man to explode, the shards that remained flew towards Hina, who swiftly dodged, as they impaled the Orange man. "Kill him! Quickly!" Archer commanded, as Hinata shifted Fang to a two handed sword. "Death swipe!" She yelled, slicing the man in half, then returned her blades back into two. "2. 1." There was a brief moment of silence, as the man flew down to the group, his wings spread wide. "On the eve of the calamity, it 'twas as if the heavens were to fall, and this, is that night! You are lucky to witness the release of my lord! Bahamut! Cleanse these insufferable fools! Smite them with your flames! Smite them with the Heavens! Destroy them in a blaze of your glory!" He shouted as the sphere dispersed, and Kainzu floated in the air. "Father, this is the end for you." Kainzu looked up, and opened his eyes. One, an Allag red, the other, it's calm grey. He unsheathed Ragnarok, as it quickly began to flow the pure white, and dark purple. "Face me, and me alone." Kainzu got in a different stance, both arms to his sides, and Ragnarok pointed behind him. He continued to float there, before landing to the floor. His left foot touching the tortured earth, then his right. "Heh, as you wish my son." The Halberd appeared in his hand, as he got in a stance. His left hand at the rear of the lance, his right near the front. He held it over his shoulder, and waited for the match to begin. "Fight!" He shouted gleefully, as he sped towards Kainzu, in return Kainzu jumped in the air, an Allag hologram projecting him up, then keeping him afloat, he quickly formed an X formation with his blades, stopping the man, and the Halberd. "Allagan field!" He swiped his blades, releasing a shocking Holographic X which the blades had formed, pushing, and shocking the man, causing blood to stain his white dress coat. "Now look what you've done! Didn't your mother teach you not to make messes! Oh wait! She's dead!" He laughed, charging towards his son again. "Allagan Eye!" A Holograph appeared in front of him, with his left arm he swiped from right to left, a holographic blade swiped, and cut the man's torso. "Ack!" He yelled, flying backwards. The man's torso was stained red, with cuts across the shirt. He panted heavily, as he looked towards his son. "Holochart! Accesses terminal. Teleport! Terminal 1Z!" The world around them began to glitch, as blue Aether began to teleport the group one by one, the war grounds faded, to reveal they were in an Allagan construct. One by one, everyone teleported, then Kainzu last.
---------Ragnarok-Terminal-1Z--------
When Kainzu appeared, the group stood before him, they were on a lift, that was moving upwards, Kainzu took a seat, his eye, a bright red. "Well. That was something." Archer muttered. "Where's Lord Dreadwrym?" Kainzu asked. "Do not worry. I am a man of honor." A voice spoke. "Where are you!" Kainzu shouted. "You'll see soon enough. If I am to die at my son's hand, then I shall perish, where I first became this way. That I became Lord Dreadwyrm, instead of Carmichael Halone." "Terminal 1Z, is that where we're headed?" Kainzu asked, looking up at a bright white light above. Suddenly they entered an Allagan hulk, similar to the one they met Hinata in. There was a flurry snow, with freezing wind. The landscape in front of them, they walked off the lift. They one by one, Kainzu leading the way, across a mechanical bridge, walked to the man, his back turned on them, the wings tattered, and blood stained, the drachen talons, were gone, and his arms were covered with cuts. They continued forward to the platform on which he stood. "Look around children, look below us, tell me what you see." Kainzu, Hinata, and Archer, walked towards the edge, as stood next to the man, Kainzu, standing to the left, Hinata and Archer to the right. The four looked down at their old cabin, far, far below, the landscape in front of them, was the snowy peaks of Coerthas. They stood on the very chunk of Ragnarok that landed in Coerthas. "It is time dear boy." He turned to Kainzu, opening his bloodied arms, then embraced Kainzu. Kainzu's eyes quickly filled with tears, as he hugged his father. After a few short minutes, he released his son. "Take this Amulet, it was your Mother and I's wedding token, inside, a picture of all of us. As a family." He opened the locket, looking at the picture, in the middle, Kainzu, Hina, and Archer, with their Father to the left, and Mother to the right. They were all smiling, Kainzu wiped both his eyes. "Now, the three of you say goodbye to your Father." Hinata quickly jumped into his arms, followed by Archer, and lastly Kainzu. "My brave children. You seek the truth yes? Of the Ragnarok?" He asked, Kainzu replying. "Yes, we do, are you going to tell us?" He shook his head. "That is for you to find out. A great adventure awaits you." He began to fade, a bright white Aether, beginning to float towards the heavens. "B-but! Where do we go? What do we do!" Archer quickly asked. "Follow your Tomes, they will guide you. The three of you are strong separately, but together, you are deadly. Remember that." The three nodded. "I shall store myself in a crystal of Alexandrite, when you find the truth, I will return, pure as the light we see." He looked towards Kainzu. "You are of Allagan royalty. That eye can do more than you can imagine, use it with care, unlike I did." Hinata sobbed hugging her father. "Don't you cry. It'll be alright." "I.. I..." "Shh, darling, I love you too, I love you all, now. Goodbye my children." There was a burst of Aether, as it flowed with the wind, in Kainzu's hand, was a small green rectangular crystal of dark matter. "Let's return." Kainzu looked up, smiling at the group. They all smiled in return, as they one by one teleported to the Ragnarok Central Core Research Facility.

RAge 4

Rage:4

He awoke in a tent, his gear set aside, and Ragnarok on a desk, he lay on an cot, with a blanket laid stop him. He stood up and dressed, latching Ragnarok to his sides, looking at the Allagan marks. He walked out the tent, to see that he was still in the center stage, Amons lair. He looked around, soldiers talking with a researcher, medics analyzing a document, Amons coat, was set up on a rack, along with his Allagan hat, and cloak. Catherine, Sol, and Raz were no where to be seen. He looked around some more, before noticing another Bridge, he hurriedly walked over to the base of it, seeing someone who looked familiar, but at the same time different. It was a man with short white hair, a staff with the decal of a meteor on the tip, wearing leather strapped boots, a flimsy lavender skirt, that was most revealing, with the front covered with a black cloth, his torso was revealed, only his shoulders, and his upper chest, was covered with a colosseum hooded shawl, next to him was Raz, she was wearing her normal outfit, her army overcoat, spiked boots, pink war gloves, and as she called them, her "smart glasses" that were just thin gold rimmed glasses. Lastly, Catherine, who wore her normal white dress coat, with a lined bow tie around her neck. She had her normal everyday miniskirt on, the color of dark grey, and on her feet she wore leather sandals, she wears them, to better feel the nature, and Aetheric powers around her. Kainzu slowly walked down the mechanism. "Oh, so you do wake up?" Catherine laughed. "How long was I out?" He replied. "Two days." She had stopped laughing. "Whose he?" Kainzu reached the group, looking at the Magister. "Sir, it is I, Sol Animus, after our battle with Amon, I felt it necessary to become my true self, and to do that, I must reveal my ancient secret." "This secret, well, go head, don't keep keep us waiting." Sol bowed, then took out a small gem, with un readable etchings on them. "This gem, contains enough black magic to destroy the world, and whoever holds it, unleashes great power." The three looked at the gem, as it pulsed with a dark energy. "I also conceal this power, I stop the strong flow of magic from leaking from the stone. If the gem breaks, until a new host gem is found, a void gate will open, and leak voidsent into our world." Kainzu nodded. "I'm glad we have you on our team." "As well." Catherine added. Raz stood there a minute, adjusting her "Smart Glasses" before replying. "So, that gem goes boom boom, gate opens, demons terrorize world, and I don't get to eat food anymore?" Sol, confused at first, ended with a nod. "What're we waiting for them, let's open the next Ragnarok Central Core gate." The three others nodded, Kainzu taking the lead, and walking up to the gate. He rose his hand slowly, Aether streaming into the gate, cogs beginning to spin, the metal bending, and shifting, the gate opened before them. "What is this?" Raz commented, as the gate revealed a Allagan Worm Hole Generator. "It seems to be an Aetheryte of some sorts." Catherine replied as Sol and Kainzu walked up to the device. Kainzu looked at the generator, before he rose his hand again before the mechanism, and allowing the stream of Aether to power the machine. Suddenly, an Aetheric blast occurred, and the four were whisked away on a flow of Aether. One by one they reached their destination, spawning on another mechanical bridge, leading to a center stage, three rings dividing it, the center, the middle, and the outer ring. Above them, there were tubes, concealing chimeric beasts, a mixture of woman with snakes, men with drachen, drachen with machine, and so on. As they began to walk forward, a giant mechanical door opened before them, past the stage. As it opened, they realized they were on top of a mountain, they looked around breifly, at a familiar Aetheric Formation in the landscape in front of them. "We aren't in La Noscea anymore." Kainzu muttered "Instead, we're in." Raz continued "The Black Shroud." Catherine finished. Sol looked on, as Chimeric tubes floated in the Aether filled air. "Hehehe we have guesssstts!" A voice sang. "Oh my poor babies, how you wish to be released, sadly Lord Dreadwrym won't let me play with you." It was a woman's voice, steps slowly after were heard, until she appeared, on the inner ring of the platform. "Who are you?" Kainzu looked at the woman. She was a Miqo'te like the others, she had dark black, short hair, her tail was slick and smooth, and for armor, she wore a sash to cover her torso, with spiked shoulder pads, worn with a cloth vest, and sandals, with a pair of shorts. "Hehehe" she bowed before them. "I'm Hinata, and I will be your murderer today!" She laughed drawing out two blades, one, with aetheric flames on them, and the other, thickly coated with poison. "Ah, so you're also a Rogue." Kainzu smirked. "Not exactly, you see, I trained Far East, and instead of training with pirates, or "law keepers", as everyone in that damned Limsa call them, I trained under my master, who taught me powerful Ninjutsu, and, soon after, introduced me to thy Lord Dreadwrym." "Go on." Kainzu stared at the woman. "As you wish! You see, Lord Dreadwrym took me in, taught me that I can mix Machine with Man, Man with Beast, and Beast with Machine!" Kainzu grabbed the hilt of Ragnarok, and unsheathed the Allagan Blades. "Get to the point." She laughed some more. "I'm an honorable woman, so here's my plan. I will fight you one on one, no strings attached. If I win, I get to use your friends and you as Chimeras, while if you win, I will take you to our fat- I mean, Lord Dreadwrym." "Kainzu. This woman, I have a bad feeling." Ragnarok spoke. "I accept." He walked to the center before her, holding his blades in the honorary rogue way, one in his left, the blade pointing behind him, one in his right, his arm over his chest, and blade readied for battle. She bowed before him, and he bowed in return. "Fight!" She called out, as she lunged towards him. He quickly blocked the attack, the blades in an X formation, as she tried to land attacks. She finally jumped back. "Is that all you got?" Kainzu yelled to her with a smirk, as he jumped into the air, then landed behind her, quickly swiping a blade to attempt to slice. She lunged both blades behind her back, Kaiznu jumping the outer ring. "Oh what fun!" She yelled. "Finally a worthy opponent!" He began to run towards her, throwing a small smoke bomb in front of her. As it erupted, she and him were both hidden in the smoke. "Kainzu!" Raz yelled. "Are you alright?" He ignored her, if he were to speak, his cover would be blown. He looked through the smoke trying to find her. "To the left, she's looking for you too." Kainzu nodded to Ragnarok, turning to the left, at what looked to be the back of Hina, he quickly sliced a blade across her mid back, but was only an illusion, the smoke cleared and Kainzu was revealed. "Dammit she tricked us." Kainzu muttered to Ragnarok. "Trying to kill me are you? If you are, you're going to have to try harder than that!" She laughed, appearing behind Kainzu, raising her poisoned blade. "Ragnarok!" Ragnarok quickly responded, transforming into a shield, halting her attack. "Transform! Greatsword!" Kainzu commanded. Ragnarok began to bend, shift, the cogs responding to the voice, the shield began to glow, and become a mechanical two handed sword. He grabbed the hilt with both hands, and held it before him, blade pointed at the woman. "Tee hee! You have one too!" "Hm?" Kainzu responded. "One what?" "A tomestone!" "What's a tomestone?" "Well, it's a weapon, built to follow its masters command. it is said long ago Ancient Allagan made them to fight off Chimeras, but soon after they cast them off because the station, or as you and your group of fools call it, the coil, came crashing down into the earth. The station, Ragnarok, was buried underground, and became forgotten, and feared. Ah, and who owns this station, none other than Lord Dreadwrym!" "Who is this Lord Dreadwrym! Answer me that!" Kainzu yelled. "Hehehe, you have to win, remember?" "I didn't intend to lose!" He thrust the twin blades into her back. "W-what.!!?" She screamed "it was an illusion, allow me to explain." He chuckled "while you were attacking me from behind, I ordered Ragnarok, to form a shield, and I gave him a smaller order on the side, to make an Aetherical copy of me, and him." The Kainzu standing in front of her, glitched, and turned to an Aetherical dust. "But!" "With the remaining amount of metal Ragnarok had left, I was able to salvage the two blades, you have been outwitted." He pulled the blades from her back, blood dripping onto the floor. "Hehehehe" she laughed. "So you think you've won? Man and Beast, Beast and Machine, Man and Machine. Now then, after Lord Dreadwrym explained to me that you could mix these, it got me thinking, what if I became one! All it takes to activate is blood! So you see, I have not lost, this battle is far from over!" Instantly she held her blades indent of her, one atop the other. "Fang! Transform!" The blades began their transformation, as did meet, she bent down in agony, screaming as a purple flame sprouted from her back like wings of a drachen, cogs began to fly off some of the tubes containing dread chimeras, as she began to grow, and float in the air, finally in a mass explosion, she was no more, she had been possessed by her own creation. Instead of looking like her normal self, the Miqo'te had completely transformed into a Chimera, the mix between Man, Drachen, and Machine, she had great drachen wings, a dark purple, spikes tipped with and Allag gold, her slick tail had become mechanical, she reassembled a demon, her arms were long, with claws of a Dreadwrym, and feet, replaced with Drachen talons. Her hair turned white, and long, her breasts, were covered with an Allagan clothe, as well as her waist. Her skin wasn't a pure white anymore, but scaled, and purple. Raz, Sol, and Catherine rushed next to Kainzu. "Haha! Look at you! Fools you can't beat me!" Kainzu quickly looked around, at the tubes lined up perfectly, stacked one stop another on the walls to their sides. "Die you fools!" She took the newly formed lance from the ground. Raz drew her lance. "Heh, these Drachen are all the same." Catherine took the angelic staff off her back, and began casting a spell. "Elemental protect us in this time of need!" A blue sphere surrounded around the group, each individually. Sol touched his gem with a smirk on his face, taking his staff out as well. "Kainzu, I have a plan." Ragnarok said. "These containers, they're full of flammable liquid to preserve the chimeras, if we can break them all simultaneously, it could be enough to destroy the mutant." "How do you expect us to pull it off!?" "Sol's gem." Ragnarok replied. "Tell him to begin conjuring a conflagration like never before, and tell Catherine to create an elemental shield, to protect the group from the blast." Kainzu nodded. "Catherine, summon the elements, procure a shield like no other, Sol, prepare a meteor, not a skimpy one, a powerful one, one that will destroy the tubes surrounding us. Meanwhile, Raz, keep Hinata distracted, I'll do the rest." The three looked to him and nodded, Raz bent her knees, then jumped into battle, spear in hand diving into the chimeric beast. She laughed, swinging the halberd at the woman, Raz swiftly dodging, then lunging her lance into the beast. Meanwhile, Sol took out his gem, and held it in one hand, closed his eyes, and began casting. Catherine quickly cast a healing wind on Raz, then began her shield. "Elementals! Here thy call, Earth, Water, Lightning, Wind, Fire, and Ice, power thee, transform into material forms! Crest a barrier like no other!" Piece by piece, a barrier began its construction, the elements surrounding Catherine as she cast. "Good, now my turn." Ragnarok synthesized a rope, and connected it to Kainzu's belt, the other end to one of the blades. Kainzu took it in his hand, then threw it at one of the tubes. "Ragnarok, anti-gravitation on!" The Aether around Kainzu began to shift, then aloud him to somewhat float, he jumped towards the wall, and stood up straight. "Engaging in hack sequence. Insert blade here." A small slot opened, as Kainzu slid the blade in. Suddenly, a container to the right of him rattled, and broke open, stepping out, was a Dread Chimera, that resembling Hinata. With its claw, it began to slice towards Kainzu. He quickly jumped, and floated back, landing softly of another tube. He took his remaining blade from his waist, and charged at the creature. He struck the being in the chest, it screamed in agony, until he heard an odd thing, that brought tears to his eyes. "Thank you..!" It was a little girls voice, soft, and innocent, and now, she was free. "Hack sequence complete." Kainzu quickly unplugged Ragnarok from the tube, then jumped back to the outer ring. "Ragnarok, return gravity back to normal." The Aether began to glow, then dropped Kainzu on his knees. "How's the shield coming?" "Almost complete!" "And the Meteor?" "About ready, waiting... On your mark..!" Sol said weakly, as he energized the mass. "On my mark!" He rose his hand in the air, ready to press a hilt on Ragnarok. "Raz! Now!" She quickly bent her knees jumping back to the group, as Catherine cast the completed shield around them. "Sol! Quickly!" "Fire! Lightening! Ice! With these destructive elements, I open a void gate! Grant unto me the power of Nald thal!" The ground shook, as a void gate spread above them, and slowly, a meteor of mass proportions, fell from it, it was the width of the battle grounds, and exploded on impact. Kainzu pressed a hilt igniting all the Chimeric tubes. The four watched at Hinata's chimeric flesh began to melt, being destroyed by the unstoppable flames. "NOO! My...! My!!! My babies! Why!!!" She yelled, as she was quickly covered with a smaller shield similar to the one the group was in. The void gate closed, and the eruption died down. The shields dissipated, and she got up from her knees. She took the halberd in her hand, and slammed it to the ground. "I.. Have one last trick up my sleeve!" She picked it back up, then threw it at a panel on the roof of the colossal room. There was a number of mechanical sounds, before a door opened, and a tube floated safely to the burnt floor. The glass was fogged, until it began to defrost. There was a cloud of white fog, the cold air blowing past the group. The door to the tube slid open, and something stepped out. "Heheh! Oh brother! How I'm so happy you're healed!" There was a gust of wind, and all was revealed. Standing there, was a man, clad in a red Allagan armor, a sword to his belt, a shield to his back, his hair was slicked back, with hints of grey, he had a light beard, and blue eyes. It was none other than... "A-archer.." Kainzu and Catherine murmured. He rose both of his hands, and smacked first Hinata across the face, then Kainzu. "Enough, honestly, both of you are equally matched, and equally immature. Gods you really are twins." The two looked at each-other confused before coming to a realization. "You mean.." Kainzu started. "We're related!?" Archer nodded annoyed before pushing the two together. "Now hug and make up. And you!" He shouted pointing to fallen chimeric tube. "You can come out now.." A Miqo'te man walked out from behind the tube, a Faire on his head, and a book to his waist. He was clad in a magicians robe, a pair of breeches, and thy boots. He walked up with a nervous smile on his face while rubbing the back of his head nervously. "Heh, yeah.." He muttered. "I'm Sylveret! It's nice to meet you." He offered his hand out with an innocent smile on his face.

Rage 3

Rage 3:

Kainzu pressed the marks on the hilts of Ragnarok, then fell unconscious. "Tea?" Ragnarok looked at his guest across from him. Kainzu opened his eyes to reveal he was in the room again. Ragnarok of course, wearing only a white T-shirt. "Of course." He replied. Ragnarok grabbed a tea cup, and poured the other a hot cup of tea, handing it over carefully. "Warning, it's hot." Kainzu nodded looking at him, before taking a sip. "You say you're naked because weapons don't wear clothes, but then why are you wearing a shirt." "It's indecent to be fully naked, I thought a young man like yourself would know some manners!" He replied. Kainzu giggled, then looked up to the man, examining him. He was a lot taller than Kainzu, he was bigger too. He had tanned skin, and short black hair, he wore his white shirt, and nothing else, luckily he could only see what was above the table. "You don't know anything about me.." Kainzu said in a hushed tone. "Pray, tell." The man smiled warmly, as Kainzu set down his tea cup. Then nodded.
------------Memory-1-Age-6-----------
"Archer! Archer!" Kainzu yelled, a big smile on his face as he ran up the snowy hillside, and to his small cottage. Kainzu yelled again to his brother, as he ran inside the warm, yet compact household. "Archer!! C'mon!!" He looked over at Archer, who was at the time 9 years of age, he was a human, unlike Kainzu. Kainzu's mother had taken Archer in when he was 6, his parents had died from a dravainian attack, which was common in Coerthas, the icy mountain range of Eorzea. She was not home at the time, she had gone into town earlier to get any fresh supplies she could afford. The Halone family, was small, and of the lowest class, Kainzu's father had left him and his mother a year after he was born, and he was never to be seen again. "Yes Kainzu?" Archer stood up from his chair, then walked over to his younger sibling. "There's fresh snow outside! We should go build a snow fort!!" "Alright alright, let me grab my coat." He replied grabbing his coat off the hook, then putting it on. Kainzu opened the door and the two ran outside.
----------Ragnarok-Database----------
"You and your brother had a strong connection I see." "We did.. Mother died that day, a dravainian scouting team launched an attack at the markets, they were fended off, but she perished." "I am sorry for your loss." He replied. "Archer enrolled, three years later to the Paladins training academy, then, he was shipped off to gods know where. I was alone."
------------Memory-2-Age-9-----------
"Shut it ya lil shite!" A man kicked the child, who was bound up, and in the back of a covered carriage. "P-please let me go!" Kainzu shouted at the man. "Capn' wouldn't like that' 'ery much" "Knock the kid out, don't want to draw any attention." The man grabbed a plank of wood, and hit Kainzu over the head, knocking him unconscious. When he awoke, he was in a cell, in what looked to be a cavern, it reeked of sea water, and alcohol. A woman quickly walked over, she looked to also be a prisoner, she had on a maidens dress, but the skirt was torn, as well as stained. "Are you alright dear?" She asked lifting up his head, a bit, as she sat next to him. "I.. I'm fine.." He muttered, his voice shaking. "Well, I guess I should introduce myself." She said with a soft smile. "I'm Rose."  "H-hi... I-I'm Kainzu." "Poor thing, you're probably wondering where you are.." He nodded in reply. "Well, you're in La Noscea, that I know for sure, I've heard from the cell guards before that this is the famous Satasha Seagrot." "La... Noscea.." "This must be a lot for you to take in.. Well you and I, and a few others here were kidnapped, stolen from our homes and families, to serve as slaves for these dammed pirates, every once and awhile, when the captain comes back from a month long journey, he chooses one out of the women and children, to take aboard his ship. Heaven knows what he does to them." She paused. "Sadly, he comes tomorrow. We're ripe for the picking." He looked up to the woman. "Don't worry, he won't pick us, he usually picks Miqo'te woman.." He slowly stood up, as she assisted him. "Are you hungry? Or thirsty? I saved some of my allowed food day in case you woke, luckily I did." She smiled again. "I am a little hungry." He replied quietly. "She looked around, checking to see if a guard was near, then took out a bread roll from a pocket on her skirt. "I know it's not much, but try to make it last." She gave a warm, comforting smile, then handed it to him. "T-thank you." He said, taking it in his hands, and taking a small bite. It tasted fresh, he ate it slowly, only to stall his hunger not knowing when the next meal would arrive. "Now then, let's get you to bed, you've had quite a day.." Rose carefully picked Kainzu up, and carried him over to a large mattress, held up by old, chipped up wood, with a few blankets on top, and three pillows. "Your lucky they put you in a cell with me, some of the other women here aren't as kind." She laid him down, the propped his head up with a pillow. "W-why are you being so nice to me.." He asked looking into the kind woman's eyes. She paused for a minute, then laid next to him, and covering the two with a blanket. "Because you remind me of my son, before he.. Never mind that, sleep well, ok?" She cheerfully smiled. "A-alright." He replied, closing his eyes, and drifting off into a deep slumber.
----------Ragnarok-Database----------
"The next day, Rose was chosen, I though, was safe for a number of years, until when I turned 11, I was chosen." Ragnarok picked up his tea cup, and held it firmly in his hands. "Do go on." He looked up to Kainzu. "I spent two years aboard the ship, where I was... Touched... And beaten, he would usually make me wear something made of very thin cloth, then have his way with me.." A tear fell from Kainzu's eye, as he set his tea cup down.
------------Memory-4-Age-13----------
"Yer gettin' 'etter time lad" the Captain said, as he rose from the bed, then stood next to it. "T-thank you, sir." Kainzu mumbled, looking a the burly man, his eyes slowly filling with tears. "Heh heh." He laughed, grabbing a pair of pants on the floor then sliding them on. "Don't look to sad, some say it's an honor to be with me!" Kainzu looked down at the blankets, trying not to look up. "Anyhow, I must be on my way, them lazy bags of sand ain't gunna yell at themselves." He snickered putting a lightly stained overcoat on, he straightened it out, then left the room. Kainzu quickly got up, and put on a pair of underwear. He nearly ran to a wardrobe across the room, opening it quickly, and grabbing out a small butter knife, that was hidden in one of his silk robes, that he had stolen the other night at dinner. He sharpened it a bit, then put on the robe, and hid the blade in his sleeve. A few hours passed, as Kainzu sat waiting in a chair, this was a normal everyday occurrence. The ship moved on, ever so often he felt the massive ship turn, and change its direction. The sun began to set, and the doors to the Captains Quarters swung open. Kainzu waited on the bed, only wearing the same silk robe, the knife hidden behind his arm. The man walked in, standing at the foot of the bed as the doors slammed shut. The tall, fat man slowly began undressing. "H-hello Captain." Kainzu spoke, laying back a little on the bed. "Shaddup" he muttered, dropping his pants, then underwear, then sluggishly taking his shirt off. The big, hairy man stood naked before Kainzu, he crawled onto the bed, nearing the innocent child. "S-so soon?" Kainzu mumbled lightly to the Captain. He began to rub Kainzu's bare legs, ever nearing his thighs. He began to grow fearful, even though this had happened countless times throughout the past two years. The man crawled directly on top of the innocent child, Kainzu began to move his right arm, slowly, in attempt to not be detected. He rose his left hand and put it on the man's cheek, then with his right hand, moving the knife from his sleeve, and into his palm. There was a moment of silence, as Kainzu quickly shoved the knife into the burly mans throat, and kicked him off of himself, he quickly got up, and took off the now bloodstained robe, and rummaged through the Captains closet, grabbing out a pair of black soldier boots, shorts, and a plain doublet vest. The man lay dead upon the bed, staining the blankets a dark red. He put the clothes on, and began to look for a weapon, if he were to escape, he would have to be prepared. He looked around, finding two daggers, a full quiver, and a longbow, he strapped both the quiver, and longbow on his back, and latched the daggers to his belt. He smiled in the mirror, knowing his hard work was coming to an end. He snuck out of the room, a cool ocean breeze blew past him, he unsheathed his bow, and hand an arrow ready, step by step, he snuck, there was a man ahead, a crew member, Kainzu calmly aimed. He crouched down, lining the arrow up with the mans head. Then, released the arrow, striking the man through the skull. He fell forward into the ocean below. Kainzu looked around, then continued forward. He looked over the railing of the large ship, looking towards the Azure Tower, a light house made of blue crystals, placed atop each other, to emit a large sea blue glow. He looked past it, to see the sea faring town of Limsa Lominsa, he knew he had limited time to escape, and if he was to get there, he had to be fast. The boat swayed gently, as he looked on towards Limsa Lominsa. Then he saw a flash. He looked closer, and then another flash, and another, coming from one balcony in the great city. He watched as more flashes occurred, then, he came to the realization that it wasn't just a drunken man playing with a shiny object, but morse code. He began to spell out, and recreate the message. "Hello? Is anyone out there?" It read. He took his blade, and used the light of the Azure Tower, and messaged back "Yes! Help, kidnapped by men, need help" he waited for a response, which he got momentarily "I am on my way with the guards, stay calm." He smiled, and sat at the foot of the railing, looking onwards to the docks, where he could faintly see the city's guard, known as Yellow Jackets, board a small fishing skipper. Momentarily the boat arrived, and he noticed someone on the small boat, a man in armor, a shield on his back, a odd sword to his side. The man looked up, as Kainzu looked down. "Kainzu?" The man whispered. Kainzu's eyes grew full of tears as he looked at the man, realizing that it was his brother. "A-archer!!" He almost yelled, but covered his mouth. Suddenly, someone awoke, from the ground beneath him in the crews quarters. "Eh, what was that?" "I dunno, lets go check it out!" Followed  by footsteps. "Kainzu, throw a rope, hurry!" Archer whispered, as Kainzu nodded throwing a tied rope down to the skipper, he quickly climbed up, followed by two of the guards. Kainzu sheathed his daggers and hugged Archer tightly. "A-archer..! They... They did terrible.. Unspeakable things to me...!" He sobbed into his older brothers side. Archer had grown much taller, and stronger sense they last saw each other, but had the same black hair, and same warm smile. "It's ok, you're safe now, how about, we make them pay?" He looked down to Kainzu as the hatch swung open. Kainzu nodded, taking out his two daggers. "Hey! What's the meaning of-" the man looked to the four. "Intruders! Wake up you lazy slugs!" Suddenly, more voices were heard, as all the men had awaken. "Be ready!" Archer spoke. Kainzu nodded, a dagger in both hands, a bow to his back. "Archer, I'll climb up the mast, and shoot them one by one, cover me!" He whispered to his older brother. "Got it, forward!" He shouted, as he and the yellow jackets charged the group. Kainzu looked to the ladder, and began to climb the mast, looking down occasionally to make sure Archer was ok. When he reached high enough ground, he tied a knot to his belt, in case he were to fall. He took aim at the men below. "Archer! I'm in position!" He yelled, then took an arrow in his hand, aiming for one of the dirty rats. He held his aim firm, then released the arrow. It fired, and stuck the man in the head. Archer looked up, smiled, then went back to attacking, and fending off the Pirates. He aimed again, this time at a bigger man, who began to charge Archer, an axe in hand, Archer held his shield with both hands, ready to brace for the attack. Kainzu aimed, then released the arrow, shooting the giant in the chest. The beast of a man fell to his back, dead. "Damn Kainzu! Your a pretty good shot!" He yelled, as Kainzu aimed again. Reinforcements appeared, Yellowjackets boarded the ship, the Pirates all dropped there weapons, and surrendered.
----------Ragnarok-Database----------
"Ooh a tale of Pirates, love- well hate, and bloody battles." Ragnarok commented. "After that, everything was calm, the Yellowjackets stormed Sastasha, and freed all the captives, and as for Archer and I, we lived in Limsa for a few years. He made me go to school, taught me how to use daggers "properly" then after I learned enough, signed me up for the adventurers guild, and rogues guild. There's one thing I won't forget though. One day....."
------------Memory-5-Age-15----------
"Hey Archer, when did you get that blade?" Kainzu asked looking at the blade hitched to his brothers belt. "That's a secret, let's just say, he wasn't easy to acquire." "It's a he?" "It's a long complicated story." Kainzu walked with his brother down the streets of Limsa, when they came across a shop. "Hats for sell! Get your hats here! Blue hats! Black hats! Lots and lots of hats! And, if you catch the Rare Rainbow Anchovy, I'll give away a hat of your choice for free!" Kainzu looked over to the merchant, then looked up to Archer. "Fine, we can try it." He smiled as Kainzu ran over to the stall. "So all we have to do is catch a fish right?" He asked. "That's correct." The man replied. "Alright then! Consider that hat mine!" Kainzu excitedly pointed to a black fedora. Then ran down the cobbled streets. Archer laughed, then followed shortly after. Kainzu reached his destination almost momentarily, the fisher's guild. "I need a fishing rod and some bait!" He yelled running into the guild. A Lalafellen woman walked up to him, she looked up to Kainzu with a smile on her face. "Here to give fishing a go?" She asked, a fishing rod in hand, a tackle box in the other, then handed it up to Kainzu. Kainzu knelt down, and took both the objects in his hands. She wore a small sun hat, with a flower on its side, as well as a plain pink shirt, culottes, and work boots. "Good luck to ya!" She smiled, as Kainzu waved and ran towards a dock. He cast his line, taking a seat at the end of the pier. "Having fun?" Archer smiled, taking a seat next to Kainzu. "I will catch this fish!" He replied, as he waited patiently. Archer looked out to the silent bay, a small skipper passing by every once in a while. "I'll go grab us some snacks, I'll be right back." Archer stood up, then walked back down the dock. "Alright! Be safe!" Kainzu smiled, and waved behind him. a half an hour passed, and Archer returned to the docks, where he saw Kainzu with a small box next to him. "Whatcha got there." Archer asked, referring to the closed crate. "A box of ice, with a few fish in it." Archer knelt down, and lifted the lid of the crate, to reveal a pile of Rainbow Anchovies. "K-Kainzu! You realize that's enough to get you more than one hat!!" "I know, I just really enjoy fishing! Mind going to get my hat for me?" "No, you're going to retrieve it yourself, you have well earned it." "Fineee." He reeled in his line, and retracted his fishing pole to a small pipe, latching it to his back, while holding the tackle box in his right hand. "Here I'll get the crate." Archer said as he lifted the heavy box off the ground. The two walked back to the market place, Kainzu, hummed all the while, a song he hand heard from the pier. When the two reached the shop, the man traded the hat for the fish, his eyes practically lit up with dollar signs. Kainzu put his hat on, making sure his ears fit threw the holes near the back. "How do I look?" He asked looking to Archer, a smile on his face. "Very classy!"

                                                                         Masterpiece Question!

anti-social kid, and now that I’ve become more open, and can speak in front of a class, I’m confident, I really like it too. Being the center of attention, even if it’s from total dinguses is fun! My favorite part of all this class though, is Preston’s sassiness. He will attempt to deny this, but he’s the sass master, and doesn’t put up with crap. What gave us this opportunity to experience this class, was our passion, it was obvious in every presentation, which they all put effort into, that they really love what they’re doing, and it feels all sentimental when they’re the center of attention, and describing what they love. I feel after all of this, I am a hero, ish, I didn’t slay any great beasts, but I did get rid of a few of my demons, and if that isn’t Heroic, then I don’t know what is.Trust is an interesting word to use, I don’t think many of us deserved it, mainly the ones who haven’t even presented yet. You have no idea if they have even done anything other than just sit there and say they did something productive. I personally feel I deserved that trust, mainly because, well ass you can’t stress enough, I wrote a book! I intend to continue to, becoming my own personal creator. Throughout the school year we read, or I read, books that really opened my eyes a bit. The character I can most relate to though is John the savage from BNW. Why? Because I know what it is to be an alien in a whole different world with ideals that don’t really connect to the people around me. Another would be Holden, why? There are phony’s everywhere. The last one would be Guy, because I do like to slow down, relax and look at the things around me every once in a while. Passions that I feel I have be revived in, is mainly public speaking, I’ve always been this

Rage:2:

"So, they have succeeded in slaying one of my contraptions Eh?" A figure spoke in an manor room, decorated with jagged Allagan fissures, revealing spinning cogs, and pipes pumping Aetherical energy. "I apologize Master, it was sudden, we did not expect the Mech IV to go down so easily." A woman's voice muttered. "And why is that?" "I... I don't know sir." "Fetch me the blueprints, I will personally look into this case, meanwhile, deal with the Core, shut all the locks to it. Seems they already have the Ragnarok in their possession." "As you wish sir." The girl got off from her knee, then left the room. "Damn it." The man pounded his fist against the metal desk, causing a large indentation. "I, Lord Dreadwyrm, shall not be defiled so easily!" With the swipe of his left arm, a holographic chart appeared before him, and yet another voice spoke. "Your majesty? Doth thou require thy aid?" The voice spoke, as it let out a devilish laugh. "Amon, the stage is set, you're on now." The voice laughed again. "Let the trumpets sound! Let the blood spill! I Amon, shall take center stage, and blow the audience DEAD!"

"Here we are." Catherine looked up at the spiraling vortex with an blank, yet cold stare.  "The Ragnarok Central Core." Catherine finished, pointing at the now clear to see gateway. "How does this work?" Kainzu asked, walking up beside her. "It's like a normal gate I suppose." "I suppose? You don't sound to confident." "It's more complex than you'd expect.." "How so?" "We only know little of the Core, but it seems to need a key, an Aetherical reading, we have each tested energy, but it hasn't responded to anyone's."

Kainzu pondered minute, looking at the gate. He slowly rose his hand, as a stream of Aether flew from the palm of his hand, to the keyhole of the monstrous gate. Sure enough, it spasmed on, the cogs began to spin, and the metal gate skidded open, scientists quickly ran down the bridge  to the scene, taking pictures of the event. "Kainzu... I get it now.. Archer passed his Aetherical pulse onto you." Catherine smiled looking at the gate. "He does trust me.." He looked up at Catherine, a smile on his face as well.

He drew back his hand as the gate stopped, guards rushing across the bridge, to aid in this new found expedition. The group was followed by the other two, Raz, and Sol. "Here is the lance sir!" She hurried over, handing it to Kainzu. "If my brother really did give me his Aetherical pulse... Then I should be able to change it." He struck it into the ground, while Catherine began a small briefing for the new troops. "Alright, listen up! We have opened the Core it is-" the lance began to glow. "Kainzu-" the metal began to bend, and undo, splitting slowly into two, after a bright flash of light, two blades remained on the floor.

"It.. Transformed..." She muttered. He looked at the two relics on the ground, latching one to each side of his waist. "Continue the briefing Catherine." She nodded in reply and pointing into the Core. "Forward troops!" At that moment they all rushed in. After the mob had begun its entrance, the four followed, looking around at the newfound cavern. Kainzu looked down towards his weapons, examining the strange markings on the hilts of his twin blades. "Welcome! Welcome!" A speaker boomed, and echoed throughout the tunnel.

"One at a time please!" A man's voice spoke. "Take a seat! Don't be shy!" The group looked around then one by one fell to the floor, dead. "Cover your nose!" Catherine yelled, lifter her shirt up to protect herself from the toxic air. Kainzu nodded lifting his shirt up as well, shortly after Raz and Sol followed. "Dammit." He muttered in a muffled tone. "Ah, so you four are the ones smart enough to avoid my trap!"

They looked around, then continued down the cave. "Let's see! Kainzu Halone, your brother was Archer was it not? Oh! And Catherine! You were his fiancé! May I offer my sincerest congratulations-" "Shut up!" She yelled. "Ooh a feisty one! Whose next! Ah yes, Raz Tyuna, the little run away are we? Disobeying your fathers orders, killing him in result, how dreadfully-" "You... You monster! Just who in the hell are you!" Raz shouted at the cave.

"Allow me to show you!" A rolled red carpet appeared, then started to unroll down the narrow cave. "Right this way! One at a time please!" They followed the carpet, which led them to an opening in the cave, much like the Ragnarok Central Core's chamber, but this one, was elegantly decorated, red drapes, gold trimming, and red carpet on a stage dead center of the cavern. A mechanical bridge turned on, making a clear path to the stage, almost begging the group to cross it.

"Don't bother looking back, once you've entered my sanctuary, there's no going back!" The opening behind them sealed shut, with a familiar mark in the middle. "Stay sharp... We have no idea what we're up against." Kainzu muttered, as he began to walk across the bridge.

"If you mean to fight us, it's unfair for me and the medic to be unarmed, wouldn't you say?" Catherine spoke to the voice. "Do not worry darling, I am an 'honest' gentleman," A crate synthesized before the two, opening it to reveal relics. Catherine grabbed out a pure ivory and gold trimmed staff, with angelic wings wrapped around a jewel. While Sol, grabbed out a staff with the decor of a meteor, blacked with ash, and was centered around a purple orb. "

See? I am a man of my word!" The voice echoed. "Shall we begin then!" The lights went out, they stood on the stage, looking around for their opponent. "Ladies and gentleman, I welcome you to my home." Light by light, the stage lit up in a circular motion.

Kainzu slowly grabbed the hilts of his blades, while Raz readied her lance. "I am Amon!" A light lit, at the center of the stage, and he appeared in a burst of black smoke. He was clad in the most flashy of apparel. He was topped with a red augmented Allagan hat, its color, a dark crimson red, with traces of gold and purple. He was a strange man, very tall, and looked to have a skeletal body, half machine, half skeleton, as if something were preserving his very being. He covered his eyes with a pair of gold trimmed  black lensed goggles.

He wore a long dress coat, grey near the waist down, on his torso, his right half was draped in the crimson red, and his left, draped in a lavender purple. His left sleeve however, was long, and caped, with Allagan details that glowed a bright blue. White tights, that had zebra printed black stripes cluttered his legs, while high heeled red boots kept him standing, while he looked towards the group. He tipped his hat, and spread his right arm out, as if to gesture to them.

"Well then, let's begin." An evil smirk formed on his demonic face. "Let the trumpets sound! Let the blood spill! I Amon, shall take center stage, and blow the audience DEAD!" Kainzu fully drew both blades, then stopped. A small voice the others could not hear rang through his pointed Miqo'te ears. "Hello Kainzu, I am Ragnarok, it is nice to meet you." The voice echoed.

He looked down to his blades, noticing the same Allagan marks from the barrier, and glowed a bright blue, pulsing whenever the voice spoke.

"Kainzu, what do we do?" Sol looked over to Kainzu, taking the blackened staff in hand. He thought a moment, Amon's eyes set on them, as if they were his prey. Kainzu stared at the blades, and touched the Allagan marks with his thumbs, causing a bright flash of light that surrounded him.

"Hello Kainzu, I am Ragnarok." It spoke again. He opened his eyes slowly, and looked around to reveal him in a elegantly decorated room. Floral decal, scaling the walls, along with pulsing geometrical blue veins. A man, sat at a table in the middle of the room, a chair across from his own. two chairs. Kainzu hesitantly walked over, glaring at the man.

"Care for some tea?" The man asked kindly. "Don't be shy, take a seat."

Kainzu slowly walked to the table, before pulling out the chair, and taking a seat. "Why am I here..?" He asked looking at the man. The man had short brown hair, and Allagan blue eyes, he had what looked to be a freshly trimmed beard, but wore only a plain t-shirt, and nothing else. He reached over and poured Kainzu a cup of tea. "Cream? Sugar?" "Both please.." "Who are you." "I told you, did I not? I am Ragnarok, and you are in my data base." "What is all this..?"

He looked around, then at his own waist. "You're Archer's blade..." "No, I am your blade now." "Why am I here..?" He took the cup in hand, and began to take a sip. "Before your brother, Archer, perished, he stuck me in the ground, and prayed. Did he not?"

Kainzu looked up at the man. "Instead, he met me here, asked that I look out for you, and protect you no matter what." Kainzu put down his cup. "I am your sword and your shield, I will help you when in doubt, and be there for you when you are unstable. Do you wish for this?"

He nodded. "Very well, if I am needed, just press the Allagan marks on the hilts, and I will be able to freeze the time space around you, and bring you in here." He smiled before lifting a hand to wave goodbye. "Good luck, your maje-" he was cut off by a flash of light.

He slowly re-opened his eyes, confused as to what Ragnarok was about to say, but ignored it to focus on the threat at hand.

"Your orders sir." Raz looked to Kainzu, her hands firmly grasping the shaft of the lance. He looked around, scanning the arena.

"I want you to keep Amon distracted. Do you think you could handle his attacks for a while? Catherine, keep everyone alive, and Sol, Attack from a distance, try not to get Amon's direct attention, while me and Raz attack up front, if you see any changes in the surrounding area, shout it out for us to watch." They all nodded, Raz glared at Amon, and bent her knees in a hunters stance, she this unbent them softly, jumping gracefully into the air, the lance guiding her like a dragons maw, he looked down from above, aimed, and stuck Amon with all her strength. "Dragon fire dive!" She shouted, as a drachens roar echoed, and flames burst around Amon. "That's our cue!" Sol shouted as he began to conjure a ball of flame with the staff, releasing it towards Amon, on impact, it created an explosion of great proportions. "Ha! So you aren't all talk I see!" He raised his cloaked arm, and snapped, a toxic blob falling to the ground. "Break a leg!" He laughed as he began to cast small orbs of fire, and launch them at Raz. "Oh great and powerful aspects of earth, protect thy's friend with a skin constructed of stone!" Catherine quickly murmured, and granted Raz protection from the incoming flames. They burst on impact, the stone letting not a single flame lick the girls delicate body. Raz smirked confidently. "Thanks Cat!" She yelled, beginning to pierce Amon. "Ragnarok, let's see what you've got." Kainzu whispered to the blades running towards Amon. "Hahaha! Hehehe!" He began to throw little packages, Kainzu dodging them as best he could. A few seconds later, one by one each package erupted into flames. "Kainzu, you need to kill that blob, if not, he'll be able to use it to protect himself!" He looked around quickly, finding the blob. It was a thick purple, and half the size of Kainzu himself. "How do you suggest I kill it? If I even try to slice it, it could split into two." "Let me analyze it, try to get closer." Ragnarok replied. "Ahh!" Raz yelled as she continued to stab and slice at Amon. "The time is almost near! Die! Die! Die!" He continued to use small lesser magicked attacks on Raz, as small as they were, they were no challenge to dodge, but when one hit,  it could very likely be the end for her. One after another, she continued to dodge. "If this keeps up.." She dodged another. "I won't be able to land an attack!" She yelled. Looked back at Catherine. "Hang in there, your wounds are deeper than I imagined!" She continued to heal, and cast various spells to protect Raz. "I'm running out of magic, hurry..!" She replied frantically, Sol running up behind her, and casting a flare, the explosion engulfing Amon and any objects around him, Raz backed away swiftly, Allowing Catherine time to regenerate her magic. Kainzu hurried, using the conflagration to his advantage, he jumped, and began slicing and stabbing, both blades in perfect sync, trying to effect the blob in any way. It responded by sizzling, and growing. "Sol! How much Mana do you have left!" He looked over quickly at the growing blob, then at Kainzu. "Only enough for a lesser flame.." He yelled in reply. "HAHAHA! Bravo! That will be all for the opening act! We thank you for your time, but it has come to an end..!" He spread his burnt arms, in the form of a cross. "It is time for the curtain call!" Musical notes began to float, and rotate around the man, his overcoat flailing about in the wind, his hat stayed firm upon his head, but his eyes, instead of its normal pitch black, began to glow a dark blood red. "I can hit him!" Raz yelled, trying to land an attack on Amon. "The notes... He created himself a barrier while he casts." Sol replied. "We have to do something! I don't know what this curtain call is, but it can't be good.." Kainzu continued to hit the blob, ignoring the others conversation. "A little help!" He yelled, looking up for a brief moment, then continuing to attack the blob. Sol turned, and focused, then began casting the lesser flames with what magic he had left. Raz bent her knees, and jumped into the air, she aimed, and dove, stabbing the mass of slime, Catherine watched, realizing what they were doing, she quickly ran over, and began smacking casting various wind spells, suffocating, and enclosing the blob. Sol focused his last bit of energy, and began to cast a flare again. "Ragnarok, how much time do we have left?" He asked looking down on his blades. "Not much, I'd say around 30 seconds, if your group is going to kill that blob, you better be quick about it!" He replied. "Almost..." Sol murmured, then released a flare, destroying the blob, it's slimed remains covering the four, they looked behind them. "Ten seconds." Ragnarok muttered. "Ladies and Gentleman! I give you! Curtain Call!" The stage erupted in flames, the air spinning around Amon only became stronger, causing the flames to grow, he laughed like a madman, watching the four stab in the raging inferno, until it stopped. The flames died down, and his barrier disappeared. "H-how... Damn that blob." He muttered, as Kainzu and the three others stood unscathed. "Your own fault for creating that thing!" He yelled. "It's components when killed can harden, and become fireproof, looks like we win Amon." Catherine looked up towards the man. "So it does, allow me to-" he grinned evilly. "Take a bow." With his remaining strength he bowed elegantly to his audience. The four stared, as he fell to the floor, dead.
Rage:

"A-Archer...! N-no...!!" "Kainzu, I'm sorry..." he picked up his blade, from the ash covered floor, a molten purple flame, surrounded the two, and at its center, a drachen. The two stood on a round platform in the middle of a cavern, above, jagged crystal hung, as the glow from them would fade, then re light.

These crystals kept the room surprisingly well lit, all the while, a rift on the bottom of the cavern spun, the mechanism reacting to the glow,  the allagan masterpiece folding, and bending at the will of the surrounding Aether.

At the mouth of the cave, far far above, an Allagan platform began to rise, sealing the fate of the two. There was no return, no, not until the bane of the dread lord is slain.

The beast leapt from the floor, and spread its mechanical wings as it circled the two below, peering down at its new found prey. It let out a monstrous roar, the two in response covered there ears.

Suddenly she struck, diving down, nearly hitting the floor beside them a gust of wind, as powerful as an explosion, hurled them towards the flames. "A-Archer...! I... I'm scared..!" He looked up at his older brother, as he coughed from the sudden burst of wind.

"Kainzu, calm down.. You know what I must do.." "A-archer p-please...!!" The taller man, patted his younger brothers head, ruffling his Miqo'te ears a bit, as a tear fell from his eye, he turned away, and began to walk towards the center of the arena.

"Kainzu.." He paused looking back. "May the light of Pharos Sirius, ever guide you." "ARCHER NO!!" He screamed, as he sobbed trying to run towards his brother, until he tripped, falling to the floor, and landing on his stomach. "P-please!! You're the only family I have left!!"

The dragon, with a thud, landed in front of the man. He peered into the beasts eyes, as it began to hover slightly off the ground, the wings creating small gusts of wind. He drew his blade, and readied his shield, the dragon began to conjure a flaming molten ball in its maw.

Archer struck the sword into the ground, got on a knee, and began to pray, very quietly, to where only he could hear. The dragon continued to conjure more, and more aetherical flames, until it's maw was filled, with it's tail, it quickly pierced through the mans armor, stabbing into his mid section, blood slowly began to pour from the man's body, some of which splattered on his younger brother's face.

Kainzu screamed, as he watched in horror, the beast spitting it's liquid hell at what once was his brother, instantly burning the body to ashes. All that remained was a sword. His sword. Kainzu, tears streaming down his cheeks, began to stand up. "You killed him!" He screamed. "You killed the only family I have left!"

He gritted his teeth, and clenched his fist, taking a step closer. He looked to the blade, watching as it began to transform, bending, shifting, the sleek Allagan metal, began to form a spear. With one hand, he lifted it from the roasted ground, held it in both hands, and gazed at the dragon above.

It screeched again, flying back into the air. In return, Kainzu pointed the spear at the circling beast, he held it firm in hand, bending his knees, he held his aim, he glared at the beast as it began to dive towards him. He held the newly formed spear in his hands, as it began to glow a calm blue, the dragon flew at full speed, but he did not move.

At the moment her head was directly in front of him, he lunged his spear into the great beasts godly head. It screamed and roared in agony, the two being pushed to the edges of the fire, the Spurs on his boots began to skid, then finally broke off, he held his stance, he had not budged until they finally slid to a final halt.

The Queen of Dragons, guardian of the coils, had died. He pulled the bloodied allagan spear from the beasts head, and latched it onto his back. He fell to his knees, and cried. Two men could be heard from a cavern.

"Look! We've found them! Inform the commander!" One yelled, "Yessir!" He replied, suddenly Kainzu heard a familiar voice. "Kainzu...! Kainzu! Is that you!" "Ma'am,  please wait until we reach the floor." "W.... Wait.. Where's Archer..." The voice muttered.

His vision began to grow blurry, then everything turned black.

A few days passed, and Kainzu awoke above ground, in what looked to be a medic room. He tried to sit up, looking at his arm to notice an IV attached to it, he looked to his left, observing his surroundings, as any Miqo'te would do. He saw int he right corner of the pale room, he saw something that made him cringe, that brought tears straight to his eyes, he even screamed at seeing the sight of it.

Doctors rushed in, as well as a familiar voice. "Kainzu! Are you alright?" A man rushed over, with hair as white as snow, a gripped Kainzu's hand. "Talk to me, what's wrong, it's ok.." He pointed weakly at the Allagan spear, in that instant the man yelled to the doctor's "Remove it, immediately!"

One of the two ran over taking the spear and rushing out. His breathing slowed, as the male held his hand, he closed his eyes, laying back, then wiped the sweat from his forehead. "Better..?" He asked, looking down upon the bed panicked Miqo'te. He replied with a slow nod, and rested his eyes. "Rest easy.. We'll talk la-" he was cut off by Kainzu.

"Take me to her..." He muttered. "You're in no state to move, I'm sorry, but I have to disapprove." He replied without hesitation. Ignoring the medics words he slowly began to stand from his bed. "I... Need... To see her.." He looked up, tears in his eyes, then stepped out of the tall bed, wearing nothing but very light, paper thin robe, only to cover his nakedness beneath. "Kainzu please."

The medic stared into the stubborn child's eyes. "At... At least let me help you.." He put one of Kainzu's arms over his shoulder, and began to walk with him out the room. They started down the narrow black metal hall, step by step, they walked, on their way, and doctors that were on duty, stopped, and gave him a salute, he looked at them confused, confused as why they would salute a failure.

The two left the hospital, the mechanical doors opening at their footsteps, he looked around, remembering how they recently took down the Garlean stronghold, and began excavation of Dalamud, and the binding coil, as they called it. It had been a year since they had taken it over, but only a few weeks ago, had they reached the Ragnarok Central Core, and also, where one man fell, in the name of science, and the preservation of Eorzea.

"Lieutenant Halone!" He looked over at surrounding men, and woman, some clad in Allagan Armor, some in researcher uniforms. All at once, they put their arm behind their backs, and one over their heart. "A-at ease.." He replied to their salute weakly. "Where is Catherine." "In the Core sir." One replied.

"W-why did you call me sir... Why are you all saluting me.. Archer.." He stopped. "A-archer is our leader..."  There was nothing but silence. A soldier walked up with a crate in hand. "Your armor sir.." She set the crate softly on the ground before him, and opened it. "Do you need any assistance..?" "No, I have some strength.."

He removed his arm from the man's neck, then took off the robe, he grabbed the underwear in the crate, and weakly put them on, the soldiers holding their pose. He began to put his armor on. The medic only watched, waiting for him to finish. He put on next, his shorts, then grabbed out his armored thigh boots., they were straight black, with blue Aetherical veins in them, and on his heels, bladed spurs.

He looked down into the crate, then grabbed out his doublet vest, then slid it on, the gray outline held the pure white in place. Lastly he grabbed his necklace, as well Allagan, with a Aetherical blue gem in the center. He looked back at the group, then began walking towards the lift back into the Ragnarok Central Core. He began to tap buttons on the control panel, as the soldier that had handed him his gear, and the medic followed. He slid the key card in the panel, and the lift began its decent. While the contraption continued downward, he stared at the panel, watching it, remembering that fateful morning. He turned around and looked to the two.

"Sorry to be rude, but, what are your names?" He asked, his arms crossed. The medic spoke first. "Sol Animus, Origin, Ul'dah, Race, Miqo'te Seeker of the sun." "And your combat style?" "Darker magic than you'd expect." "And you.." He turned to the woman. "Raz Tyuna, Origin, Gridania, Race, Miqo'te Keeper of the moon. I specialize in the art of Lancing, more specifically, Dragoon"

"I guess I should formally introduce myself.." He replied looking towards the two. "Kainzu Halone, Origin, Coerthas, Race, Miqo'te Keeper of the moon, and I specialize in duel wielding."

The platform continued to lower, until it reached a patch of mirror crystals, he looked at his reflection, his fair skin, his black tail, and black pointed feline ears, he looked at the grey frosted tips of his hair, touching one in his left hand, he looked back at the other two, Sol, having snow white hair, and Raz having pitch black braids, both of the two hand pointed ears, only their tails differed. Raz having a slick, pointed tail, that would sway left to right, and Sol, who had a fluffed white tail, that swayed right to left. His tail, did not move, it stayed calm, resting itself almost. He turned around completely, as the mirror crystals rose above them, and as the platform reached its destination.

The three looked down at the battle field, and isolated pillar of land, in the middle of a cavern, the spinning core had now stopped, and a mechanical bridge had been formed, leading towards the center, scientist had already begun studying the Allagan beast, and its surroundings, until it came to a skidding halt at the edge of the platform. The three walked off, and directly to a stone in the middle of the bruised arena, and sitting on there knees next to it, was Catherine.

"Archer..." She mumbled lightly, as Kainzu approached the her. She had light blonde hair, and light blue eyes, she wore a white lab coat, and black thy boots, with of course, a black mini skirt. She began to cry, but quickly wiped her eyes to cover her weakness. "Brother.." He looked down to the woman and the tombstone. "Your brother was a good, honest man... Even though you two had your disputes, and claimed you hated each other, I saw through it. I know you two cared most about each other, it was a bond no one could break.. We were scheduled to be married this month."

She stopped. "Good things never last." She muttered standing up. "Give up this serious act Kainzu.." He relaxed his muscles and looked to the woman before him, he couldn't hold back any longer, he instantly burst into tears, running towards her, as she embraced him in a motherly hug, rubbing the back of his head, and scratching behind his ears, his tail swayed sadly, as he wrapped his arms around the woman's waist. "H-he's gone...!" He sobbed.

"I'll never get to see him again.... I'll never get to build snow forts, or throw snowballs at each other, or make a pillow fort..." "Kainzu.. It's ok..." "But.." "Shh hun, everything will be fine. As long as we let the light of Pharos Sirius guide us." At that moment, he remembered his brothers last words, and felt relieved. As if his brother was there, hugging the two, a warmth filled the two's hearts, as a small smile formed on their faces.

"May the light of Pharos Sirius ever guide you." Archers soft voice rang out in the pair's ears, he spoke one last time. "Do not give up, ever, let my death power you, let my Aetherical energy flow through your minds, and bodies. Let the light guide you, follow that light!" A burst of Aetherical matter erupted from the tombstone, making the room glow a bright blue. The two stood up, and dusted off their clothing.

"Raz, fetch me my brothers weapon..." He looked to the other woman. "Please." She gave a quick nod, and began back to the lift. "Well then, while we wait, how about we head into the Ragnarok Core?" Catherine spoke up, as the lift began to move upwards. "Sure, I'd like to see what that beast was trying to protect." He muttered and began walking towards the new formed mechanical bridge. "I will await her Lt. Halone." Sol saluted, then waited by the lift, waiting for Raz's return.

"Let's get going Catherine." he looked up to the taller woman, his ears perked up, a smile formed on his face. "As you wish!" She smiled back, then led the way across the mechanism.

Journal 5/14/15

The only thing I can say, is it's true. We need to socialize. I am a prime example of just staying on technology, and becoming anti social. I honestly feel a small pulse of regret, of all the moments I could have regained or memories I could've made of I justwould've looked up, and talked, and became myself a bit sooner.

Aldy Notes

Aldy's reason as to why we are heading to be a "Brave New World"

Propoganda
Overpopulation
Technology
Dictatorship

To be honest he makes me question war, it just makes me think, the U.S. People don't want to go to war, the leaders of countries in general do, what is the point of war if it's just literally a giant pissing contest, people's lives, being pissed away as they try and see who can piss the longest and farthest, I don't think the leaders of countries think about people's lives when they go to war, they only think about the threat at hand, and no simply way, NEGOTIATION, to solve it. It's straight to the guns bombs and human life.

Journal 5/13/15

The biggest physical challenge I endured was probably when my grandfather wanted to dig a big hole in the front yard for, FLOWERS, that only needed a little hole, it was over two weeks just me and him digging a giant ditch, putting mesh, and re filling the hole, the dog we had at the time, kept following me into the hole to. So knowing how short of legs she had, I had to lift her up and out of it. So it was an interesting two weeks.

Journal 5/5/15

Americans use it as an excuse toget drunk, in my opinion, while Mexicans, think of it as an inspirational battle, an amazing victory, yet we associate it with partying, and nonsense.

Journal 5/4/15

I can't pick just one Journal I agree on, but a genre. I love the Journal topics that sprout into giant conversations, that we argue about the whole period, that we get sources, and ask questions to solve problems, or settle discussions.

Emperor Penguins Report

The Emperor Penguin, the tallest, and heaviest penguin, lives in the frozen wasteland of the Antartic. They survive in the cold because of their thick feathers, which shield their fleshy stuffs from the cold, and as seen above, allows them to enjoy themselves from time to time.

Emperor penguins reproduce sexually, it takes two to make an egg. The happy couple spends awhile with each-other, before the FEMALE, not the male, (sorry this is not 16 and pregnant) leaves, and gathers fish in her gut for her husband, and child, when it hatches.
