Notes

Ethos:
Character of the person, persons identity.
Pathos:
Emotion passion.
Logos:
Logic.

Speech, Rice University.

-Everyone cheering when the president stood up. Very formal, very important, he looks happy.
-Cheering continues for a few moments
-Starts with identifying everyone
-He wants to enhance knowledge And science
-He plain out says, he wants to discover the unknown
-He starts talking about events, putting them into modern time.
-He wants the U.S to grow scientifically.
-He announces the Race to Space.
-He doesn't want to use space for warfare, he wants to use it for knowledge.
-Space is supposed to be the connection of countries.
-"We choose to go to the Moon. We choose to do these things, not because they're easy, because they're hard!" 
-"Because that challenge we intend to win."
-He speaks of the first rocket, that will take America to the moon
-He explains that space will be a new hope for America, because it can be used to protect.
-"We shall make up, and move ahead." 
-Talks about how they have 5.4 billion dollars for the budget.
-"We shall send to the moon, a giant rocket, made of new metal alloys, carrying all the equipment needed, into an unknown celestial area, and do all this, and do it right, and do it first!" 
-He believed that the U.S could do it, wishing 10 years.
